Study Permit

Choose the right Designated Learning Institution (DLI), prepare GIC plus LOA, and apply with documentation that reflects a genuine student — not a backdoor immigration attempt.

Who This Is For

Is this the right pathway for you?

First-time international students

Undergrads, master’s, college diploma students applying for a Canadian study permit for the first time.

Spousal & dependent stream

Spouses of students (SOWP) or dependent children accompanying students on a study permit.

Study permit extensions

Existing students extending their permit for a new program or continuation of the current one.

Previously refused students

Students refused on “genuine student”, “financials”, or “ties to home” — we rebuild with evidence.

What We Handle

Full-service, zero guesswork.

We take ownership of every moving part — so you don’t have to learn immigration law on top of your day job.

DLI selection guidance
Not all colleges are equal. We advise on PGWP-eligible DLIs, program relevance to PR pathways, and avoiding reputation-risk institutions.
Statement of Purpose (SOP)
The single most-read document in your file. We write it so the visa officer sees a coherent, honest study plan tied to career goals.
Financial documentation (PoF)
Proof of Funds framed correctly — GIC, education loans, sponsor affidavits. Sufficient and verifiable.
Tie-to-home narrative
“Why will you return?” is the hidden second question. We address it proactively through career, family, property evidence.
Post-submission support
Biometrics, medical exam coordination, and prep for any procedural fairness letter.

Questions, Answered

Frequently asked.

SDS or non-SDS — which should I apply under?

SDS (Student Direct Stream) is faster for eligible countries (India, China, Philippines, etc.) IF you meet GIC + IELTS 6.0 overall (or equivalent) + paid first year tuition. Otherwise non-SDS. We assess both.

How much Proof of Funds do I need?

Tuition for first year + CAD 20,635 living expenses (outside Quebec, 2024 onward) + CAD 4,000 for each family member. Verifiable, not just on paper.

Can my spouse come with me?

Yes — spouses of study permit holders in graduate or professional programs can get a Spousal Open Work Permit (SOWP). Rules updated 2024.

What about PGWP after graduation?

Post-Graduation Work Permit lets you work in Canada up to 3 years after completing an eligible PGWP-DLI program. Strong bridge to PR via CEC or PNP.
